Email and SMS notifications

Email notifications

BlissRADIUS Embedded supports email notifications. Email messages are sent using host software API, sendmail or via SMTP. All messages are visible in host software reports. Message subject and text templates are configured in BlissRADIUS Embedded config page. Messages are sent when certain threshold is reached by percent and threshold code:

• Online time usage
• Download limit
• Upload limit
• Transfer (download + upload) limit

Various service details can be inserted in message when threshold is reached, like username, client description, product name, percent and type of threshold.

SMS notifications

BlissRADIUS Embedded uses built-in SMS Gateways to send messages to clients. These are either online gateways or hardware devices eg. locally plugged mobile device via serial port.

Client that owns service must have phone number set.

Same rules apply when inserting service details in message template.

Notification settings

Multiple thresholds can be set. Configuration option example is:

Notification = 50% GB Limit, 80% GB Limit

When threshold is reached message will be sent as both email and SMS if needed.
